About

The Women's Service Guild of Christ Lutheran Church was organized in 1933. We have been affiliated with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) since 1951.

The mission of the Women's Service Guild of Christ Lutheran Church is to give each woman the opportunity to utilize her talents in service to the Lord by ministering to the church, community, and the people of the world.

The Executive Board is composed of the Guild Officers and the Chairwoman of each committee. The Board meets prior to Guild meetings to firm up plans for the general meeting and to establish those items needing to be presented to the Guild.

All confirmed women within the congregation are considered to be members.

The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML), with a membership of 250,000, is the official women's auxiliary of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. For over 70 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman in her relationship with Christ to enable her to be in ministry among the people of the world.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9
