Meet Pastor Ron Breight « Back

Pastor Breight originates from Reedsburg, Wisconsin where he attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church and School during his early years. He attended an Associate Degree program in the field of electronics technology and then entered the pre-seminary program at Concordia College Wisconsin where he graduated in 1985. Pastor Breight and his wife Linda (Giebel) were married that summer. He received a Master of Divinity Degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri in 1990. He has served as Program Director for Rocketry camps at Camp LuWiSoMo in Wild Rose, Wisconsin and currently volunteers in that capacity at Pioneer Retreat Center and Camp in Angola, New York.

Pastor Breight has worked with the LCMS Board for Communication Services/ KFUO Radio as engineer, producer, and on-air host. He has previously served congregations in South Dakota and Wisconsin and has been Pastor of Christ Lutheran since 2007. Pastor Breight has served as District Pastoral Counselor for the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Eastern District of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS), the Board of Directors for Pioneer Retreat Center and Camp, and the Board for Pioneer Ministries.  

Pastor has been elected to the board of Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
